Currently, control the hunting on a little over 25000 acres mostly located in Harper county. The big ranch which consists of roughly 19000 acres ( all contiguous ) highly managed and has minimums. The other hunting acreages consist of 39 farms scattered across Beaver, ELLIS, Woodward, and Harper counties. These other farms have no minimums or penalties. Hunters are allowed to choose if they want to hunt the big ranch or one of the other farms.

ARCHERY-8 points or less-130

ARCHERY-9 points or more-140

Muzzleloader and Rifle-8 points or less-140/9 points or more than 150

The age structure of 5.5 years or older/age structure is the biggest factor- There is a hit list.

Penalty for not adhering to rules on big ranch-2500.00

• -October 17th-21st (5-day hunt-$2,850)
• -November 6th-9th (4-day hunt-$3,000)
• -November 14th-18th (5-day hunt-$3,300)
• -December 13th-17th (5-day hunt-$2,850)

2025 MUZZLELOADER OPENINGS:

• -October 25th-28th (4-day hunt-$3,500)
• -October 30th-November 2nd (4-day hunt-$3,500)

2025 RIFLE OPENINGS:

• -November 22nd-26th (5 day hunt-$4,250)
• -November 29th-December 2nd (4-day hunt-$3,750)
• -December 4th-7th (4-day hunt-$3,750)
